Established in 1985, The Young Performers produce high quality amateur dramatic productions including musicals, plays and gala evenings.

Our Mission

Based in Long Eaton, we pride ourselves on providing a top class extra-curricular education for young people aged 10 - 18, covering all aspects of theatre craft in a supportive, enthusiastic and friendly environment.

We aim to create a diverse, equitable and inclusive environment where young people from all backgrounds are made to feel valued and able to participate.

The Young Performers are a volunteer run amateur dramatic theatre group, we aim to provide our members with skills that will not only prepare them for careers within the industry but that will support them wherever they go.

In this show the ensemble play a big part and those in it have to play a number of roles. This they all do well, and I am very impressed by the energy and enthusiasm shown by them.
